July 09, 2010 - July 09, 2010
Webinar, None,
Roundtable
Presented By
AgCareers.com

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!  Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, LinkedIn…..a whole new world of online interaction that is having an impact on recruitment strategy. This brief webinar will give participants a basic understanding of each of the ‘hot’ social networking tools and a short description of highlights / how to use each. However, the majority of the session will focus on how employers are using these new resources to assist with recruitment. The presenter will share feedback from both employers and job seekers on how social networking can impact recruitment as well as comments from job seekers about their feelings toward employers using social media to recruit. From this session participants can take away a better understanding of social media avenues, how they can be used to impact recruitment, and give participants the basis to make a decision if using social networking fits into their organization’s recruitment practices.
