  • Ability to travel up to 70% to meet business needs, requiring overnight stays.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

What you will do:


The Facility Operations intern will perform routine engineering work and assist the Senior Operations Manager with inspections, construction, maintenance repairs, project proposals, facility capital expenditure support, environmental permits, and site layouts which includes construction and fabrication work. This position works under moderate supervision and will provide facilities management planning and oversight of short and long-term facilities projects.


you will:



  • Assist the team in developing plans, project proposals, specifications, estimates, reports, and related documents in compliance with laws and standards; makes recommendations for improvement.

  • Partner with facility management teams to coordinate support and scheduling throughout project completion.

  • Conducts engineering field work, such as surveying, inspecting, drafting, design, data analytics and site layout.

  • Understand and apply blueprints and technical diagrams.

  • Assist with inspections of contractors and operators for compliance with the state specific laws, environmental permits and specifications.

  • Drive Employee Safety agenda and improvement.

  • Adhere to state, local and environmental building regulations

  • Work closely with facility operations and facility management teams to support asset locations with ongoing project needs.

  • Complete project work in a timely manner.
