Job Description:

The Associate Procurement Specialist supports key procurement activities by conducting research, resolving issues, analyzing master data, processing transactions, and generating reports. This role involves regular communication with suppliers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations. Additionally, it emphasizes adherence to established processes while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.


 


Key Responsibilities:


 



  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring alignment with long-term goals.

  • Provide guidance on procurement processes and drive efficiencies through strategic supplier management.

  • Manage procurement master data within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and timely updates.

  • Analyze procurement data and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.

  • Work with the team to improve procurement processes, implementing best practices and innovative solutions.

  • Oversee the setup and maintenance of item numbers and supplier profiles within the D365 system, ensuring data integrity and alignment with procurement strategies.

  • Ensure the accuracy and consistency of procurement records, driving data quality improvements to support informed decision-making and operational efficiency.

  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth operations.

  • Monitor industry trends and provide strategic recommendations to improve procurement processes and cost management.


 


Qualifications:


 


Minimum



  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel (intermediate level), PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management abilities.

  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively

  • High attention to detail and accuracy.


Preferred



  • 2+ Years Procurement Experience, previous material planning or purchasing experience.

  • Microsoft Dynamics (D365) Experience
