Corteva Agriscience is seeking a talented and enthusiastic plant molecular biologist to join the Mode of Action & Resistance Management Center of Expertise, based at our Indianapolis Global Headquarters. This individual will play a crucial role in a cutting-edge target-based discovery project, primarily working in the lab within a collaborative, cross-functional environment to develop target specific assays. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of technical expertise, overcoming challenges and advancing projects.

Responsibilities - What You Will Do

* Develop and execute protocols for expression of target proteins.

* Validate and quantify expression of target proteins with protein quantification measures (luminescence, fluorescence, western blotting).

* Critically analyze data and communicate results with project teams and stakeholders to make appropriate decisions about project direction.

* Ensure a safe working environment by following the company safety policies and procedures.

QualificationsRequirements - What Skills You Need:

* Ph.D. in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline with 0-2 years of post-doctoral experience.

* Expertise in plant molecular biology

* Expertise in heterologous protein expression.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Knowledge and hands-on experience of protoplast isolation, culture, and transfection.

* Experience in cell biology, protein biochemistry or structural biology.
