Corteva Agriscience is looking for an innovative, energetic and transformational Portfolio Manager.
The Portfolio Manager is responsible for driving the execution of Corteva IT's programs and projects in alignment with other IT functions both regionally and globally.
This individual will be responsible for creating and maintaining portfolio and program budgets, collaborating with the broader organization to identify budget requirements and allocate accordingly.
The Portfolio Manager is responsible for the collaboration with the IT Portfolio functions (PMO, IT Finance, etc.) and their components. Management of capital and operational expenditures, budget forecasting, requirement identification, risks, schedules, resource planning, status are all requirements.
Key Responsibilities - What you will do to help us grow!
* Engage with the leader of an IT function, build a positive relationship and give them constant visibility to the portfolio of projects in their area.
* Orchestrate the execution of the projects/programs managing financials, dependencies and cross collaboration within IT and business using personal skills and the governance structure.
* Ensure seamless demand and portfolio operations with focus on value realization.
* Collaborate with the broader IT organization to inform and align on requirements.
* Manage budget, financials and maintain transparent reporting and accurate budget forecasting.
* Works with product/regional teams to build processes for better cross product/region alignment and communication.
* Manages relationships and resolves conflicts demonstrating a leadership style that facilitates and manages the interests of the stakeholders.
* Measure success in terms of ROI, new capabilities, and benefit delivery.
* Act in a Project Management capacity for efforts as needed.
QualificationsWhat expertise have you grown - What do you bring to the table?
* 7+ years of industry experience, and 3+ years in a leadership position.
* Educational Requirements: A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology/management, or related fields are highly desired but not required.
* Proven ability to build, manage and control execution for projects and programs in large scale in fast-paced environments.
* Ability to lead in a team-oriented, matrix, multicultural environment.
* Self-directed and strong organizational skills to coordinate multiple tasks.
* Proven communications skills to facilitate discussion at all levels both with Business and IT. Ability to influence without authority.
* Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse technologies and techniques.
* Experience in Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, ITIL and Waterfall frameworks.
Other Preferred Qualifications
* PMP or PgMP Certification.
* Microsoft Project, ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management, ITIL, Power BI and/or Sharepoint experience.
