Job Description: DescriptionAs the Operations Research Associate (RA) for Corteva Agriscience, you will have the opportunity to gain diverse experience with the foundations of leadership in agriculture research. This position is ideal for individuals whose passions have drawn them to pursue a role participating in a high-quality data collection team and who have an interest in creating digital platforms designed to aid in field execution.

This role will focus on pioneering execution within the modern plant science industry. This role focuses on ensuring all reporting functions have the support they need to execute varying research activities. Our activities occur in the field, warehouse, labs, greenhouses, shade houses, processing facilities, and office.

This position will support our Corn Pathology program on behalf of Seed Product Development (SPD). This role will support all other research associates in Woodland CA as time allows. This role will be responsible for the supervision of contract-hired teams.

Site Specific Responsibilities:

* Manage seasonal labor on-site daily

* Use technology, including drones, iPads, and various software tools to collect, evaluate, and distribute data following detailed protocols.

* Lead assigned projects and coordinate experiment execution with their supporting project

* Manage flowering data collection for all research project

* Organize and supervise the work of all operations contractors. Maintain or improve efficient daily workplace operations

* Assist in the collection and analysis of proximal imaging data

* Lead maintenance and creation of our on-site management systems in Microsoft Business Intelligence systems: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI and Excel

* Support site safety culture and ensure adherence to safety standards

* Execute data quality checks on all data collected in the field

* Support operations supervisor with any fluctuating workload throughout the season

QualificationsEducation:

Bachelor's degree in an associated field.

Work Experience:

3 to 5 years experience in an applicable role preferred

Bi-lingual in Spanish is highly preferred.

Hours:

A standard 40-hour work week, beginning at 6 a.m. and ending at 2:30 p.m. daily. During peak periods, long hours and weekend work will be required.

VISA sponsorship is not available for this position. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $59,570 - $74,460 yearly. This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
