This role can accommodate a flexible work arrangement where you may work multiple days a week from home.

What You'll Do:

* Serving as a leader within the Corn Scheduling team, providing direction and guidance around priorities for our Multi-Channel brands, and helping problem solve throughout the year to meet our demand signal, while minimizing production regret.

* Reviewing quality, inventory, and demand information to determine what products to prioritize for production runs while keeping our Multi-Channel seed partners informed of production progress.

* Collaborating with internal and third-party production sites to determine products to move as green and shelled corn during harvest to best utilize network storage capacity, while also ensuring that we have the right seed at the right sites to meet our financial targets throughout the year.

* Supporting winter production efforts by monitoring transportation into our North American production sites and ensuring that sites have visibility and direction of what is coming.

* Providing testing support to improve our scheduling optimization tool (SNAP) to meet our Multi-Channel brand needs and provide direction to our IT teams on how to make sure the tool is functionable and correct for our Scheduling team.

* Monitoring KPIs to measure performance toward objectives, such as meeting weekly production targets for our Multi-Channel brands and scheduling enough work for our production sites to meet those targets.

* Working collaboratively with the Quality and Allocations teams to maximize supply position and make decisions to support demand fulfilment.

* Supporting our Distribution team to align production and distribution plans.

* Assisting internal and external production locations with managing production schedules, rough cut capacity plans, and priorities.

* Providing direction, support, and training to internal production locations and 3rd party contract conditioners on production and system needs, while ensuring that we meet our demand requirements.

* Being on call periodically to support production locations with issues after hours.

* Developing and maintaining clear packaging specifications and CAMS documents.

* Leading and participating in project work as well as identifying cost savings opportunities. This role will serve as a subject matter expert for Scheduling and will be assigned to work on several different projects, as a result.

QualificationsWhat Skills You Need:

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business or Agricultural related fields or equivalent amount of education and experience

* 3-5 years of production or supply chain experience

* Working knowledge of Excel, Access and SAP systems

* Demonstrated ability to interact and work closely with peers in a team environment

* Experience and in-depth knowledge of scheduling, with ability to serve as a subject matter expert is preferred.

* In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles and acumen

* Strong analytical skills and ability to manipulate and interpret data to make decisions

* Ability to model scenarios and make data and cost driven decisions

* Capability to work across functions to ensure supply chain strategies are executed

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Knowledge of commercial corn production and quality processes

* Innovative

* Ability to prioritize multiple diverse activities, at any given time

* Accountable

* APICS Coursework or Certification preferred
