The Global HRBP team is accountable to lead the global talent strategy, global talent architecture, strategic workforce planning, and overall change management in support of our business priorities.

Corteva is hiring a Global HR Business Partner & Special Projects R&D?to join our Global HR Business Partner team. In this role, you will drive key projects across our R&D organization. You will have the opportunity to deep dive into different functional areas of the R&D organization executing projects that evolve our strategic people priorities. In alignment with the HRBP team, you will ensure accountability and alignment of large-scale, organization-wide projects designed to strengthen Corteva. In addition to the HR business focused special projects and initiatives, this role will partner with designated R&D Leaders and their org needs. To be successful, you must be highly agile, have a passion for diagnosing and bringing structure to complex business challenges, and adept at change and stakeholder management.

The Global HRBP, HR Projects role will partner and collaborate with various stakeholder groups across HR (COE, Regional/country consulting teams, HR leadership) and across R&D function.

Key Responsibilities - What you will do to help us grow!

* Provide Strategic Partnership to the designated R&D sub-functions.

* Active member of the HRBP team to align and contribute to the short and long-term strategic people priorities for the organization while also ensuring this can be aligned/executed deeper in the functional area.

* Responsible for helping the R&D teams solve issues, challenge the status quo, create value, maximize growth, and improve functional and business performance.

* Understand the business challenges and strengths through active partnership.

* Support R&D driving key short-term and long-term people focus areas to support the overall business unit level people strategy.

* Support building high performing teams that are prepared for the future needs of the organization while driving a high-performance culture that manifests in value and tangible deliverables and financials for Corteva and shareholders.

* Provide guidance on employee retention and recognition options, e.g., development opportunities, employee recognition programs, etc.

* Partner with leadership and HR CoEs on strategic needs.

* Partner directly with R&D HRBP team and leadership to lead innovative cross R&D projects focused on rapidly scaling our HR Solutions, expanding our Employee Value Proposition and Employee Experience.

* Collaborate with different functional areas of our HR Team - e.g., Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partner Teams - to deliver on initiatives for R&D to drive results aligned with strategic priorities.

* Develop, lead and execute complex R&D cross-functional project plans with clearly defined milestones, timelines, communication plans and task owners. This includes active stakeholder management and maintaining open lines of communication with other HRBPs and R&D leadership.

* Identify, prioritize, structure, and solve complex business problems, using analytics and business judgment.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree required. A Master's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources/Human Capital, Finance, Marketing, or a related scientific/technical field, and/ or PMO certification are a nice to have.

* 5+ years of HR/ Project Management experience and a strong track record of serving as a human resources generalist or specialist in a large global matrixed and diverse organization.

* Demonstrated ability to extend influence beyond core HR areas and specific experience in driving results through others.

* Proven experience in applied organizational development and change management including working with teams in a large, global organization.

* A strong business and financial acumen are preferred.

* Able to implement the people strategic priorities set by the business/HRBP into specific goals, tactics, action plans and deliverables with limited oversight.

* Effective communicator with experience in tailoring to varying audiences; ability to communicate quickly and concisely.
