What You'll Do:

* Lead our Facilities maintenance team by performing building maintenance, planning maintenance schedules, coordinating contractors, conducting preventive maintenance, general troubleshooting, and completing building repairs, and projects to control/maintain the environment and working conditions for employees required for company research activities.

* Interface as needed with contractors to coordinate projects and vendors/suppliers regarding needed services, materials, and labor.

* Prioritize and organize work schedule by utilizing CMMS system reports and work orders. Maintain accuracy, neatness, code requirements and assure jobs are completed in a timely manner.

* Maintain all work on the PM/Work order system.

* Coordinate with supervisor when decision-making questions are needed for job completion.

* Other duties as assigned.

QualificationsEducation:

* BA or BS (or equivalent), in operations, agriculture business or engineering, or

* Trade school graduate in electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, or Milwright

What Skills You Need:

* You have proven skills in troubleshooting HVAC systems, plumbing, and building electric systems.

* You have experience and proven abilities in using computer systems and programs including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, CMMS system, etc.).

* You are able to lead a team, build work schedules, work both independently and in a team setting with limited supervision.

* You have good written and verbal communication skills.

* You have a valid US driver's license.

* You are willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.

* You are solutions-focused and experienced in problem-solving and troubleshooting of equipment and systems.

* You are willing and able to work a primarily Monday through Friday daytime schedule and be part of the on-call rotation schedule as needed.

What Makes You Stand Out:

* You have 10 years of trade experience/education in a maintenance-related field

* Knowledge of Building Automation systems and CMMS systems.

* Managerial experience

VISA sponsorship is not available for this position. Salary Range The salary range for this position is $75,730 - $94,660 yearly. This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
