As a member of our EMEA Communications team, this person will be responsible for managing communications within Germany, an important market for Corteva's continued business success. This role will elevate how Corteva communicates and engages with internal and external audiences, raising awareness and interest to the organization's significant achievements and continued focus across agriculture.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead proactive and strategic communications counsel and guidance to senior leaders and country teams.

* Create and execute an integrated communications strategy to build, strengthen, and maintain a strong corporate reputation within Germany, incorporating tactics related to digital and social media, media relations, brand, and other related areas.

* Develop and deliver compelling external messaging, targeting priority stakeholders.

* Develop and deliver compelling internal messaging to inform, inspire and engage colleagues.

* Integrate technologies, data, and best practices to ensure continued effectiveness of messaging across audiences.

* Work across the business to find, develop and communicate stories centered around innovation, sustainability, and impact.

* Proactively monitor and respond to issues and crisis.

* Collaborate with the Media team on effective media strategy design and execution, including press releases, media interactions and social media, to effectively position the organization in top-tier and mainstream media.

* Collaborate with Government and Industry Affairs team to communicate effectively on policies, regulations, and other areas of identified importance, and to champion local community investment initiatives.

* Lead and support ad-hoc communication projects, including signature agriculture programs/events.

Location: this is a remote position based in Germany with occasional travel to Berlin, our office in Munich and other international locations as required.

* Experienced communications professional with 10+ years of experience leading communication efforts in a corporate environment.

* Ability to critically assess any given issue and provide counsel on recommended path forward.

* Ability to navigate a matrixed organization effectively and independently.

* Bachelor's degree. Post-graduate or MBA degree preferred.

* Previous experience in working with the agriculture or chemical sector preferred.

* Strategic mindset that fosters innovative, creative thinking.
