• Job Title: Agronomist/Agronomy Sales

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Agronomist to join our team. The Agronomist will be responsible for providing expertise on crop production, soil management, and Western agricultural sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in market analysis, business development, and sales strategies within the agricultural industry.

Duties:

• Provide expert advice and consultations.
• Conduct research on crop production techniques and technologies to optimize yields.
• Conduct on-site visits to assess crop conditions, identify potentioal issues, and recommend appropriate products and services
• Collaborate with farmers to develop sustainable agricultural practices.
• Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for business development.
• Sell and promote spray application equipment, seed, fertilizers and pesticides.
• Engage in outside sales activities to promote agricultural products and services.
• Negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers to ensure favorable terms.
• Provide technical support to customers on product usage and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or related field preferred; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in technical sales, analyzing market data, and driving sales growth.
• Strong understanding of Western agronomic principles and sustainable farming practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
