Chicago area international agricultural products trading company seeks experienced Agricultural Products Traders. Our company’s primary business is supplying overseas food processing plants with FCL and LTL shipments of bulk foods originating from manufacturers in the USA and abroad (foreign-to-foreign sales).

We are seeking to add experienced traders within various international agricultural products trading groups, including, but not limited to:

• Peanuts and other nuts,
• Sugar
• Rice
• Dairy Powder
• Other

Focus Areas Are:

• Maximize sales to customers.
• Develop new customers.
• Develop new product lines to existing customers.
• Ship products effectively and ensure document delivery to avoid damages.
• Learn product details, history and origins, compile sales reports.

Problem Solving

• Monitor account status and do collection work as needed
• Identify market conditions that provide opportunities for sales, and ensure other salespeople are aware of opportunities.
• Train assistants and other staff members on various office duties, logistics, products, strategies, and trading.
• Bilingual Spanish/English - written/spoken communication a plus.
