Scoular’s IT Internship challenges you to focus on business enablement and ensuring we continue to evolve and modernize our technology. Throughout the internship, you will have the opportunity to: 

• Assist in business analysis to identify and recommend opportunities for improving efficiency, effectiveness, and process capabilities  

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects and initiatives.

• Research emerging technologies, trends, and benchmark data to make recommendations to improve customer experience, architecture, processes, and tools.

• Learn to configure new systems, and access for incoming employees.


• Learn new systems, tools, techniques, and emerging technologies.  


• Learn software & hardware components, networking principles and hardware devices used within our organization.


• Learn effective troubleshooting methodologies to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.


• Shadow experienced technicians and engineers to observe troubleshooting processes in real-world scenarios, and actively participate in resolving technical challenges.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, contributing ideas, insights, and proactive problem-solving to support ongoing tasks and projects.


• Maintain detailed documentation of your learning journey, including notes from training sessions, project work, and troubleshooting experiences.

Who you are:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree  


• Curious and eager to learn – you don’t need to be a technology major to apply for this internship 


• Interested in mastering current and learning emerging technologies 


• A proven leader with experience leading in clubs, athletics, projects, or student government 


• Active in the community giving back on campus, your hometown, or on a global scale 


• Innovative, original, and creative in thinking; comfortable introducing new ideas 


• Self-driven with an entrepreneurial mindset 


• Quick to identify a problem and find the best solution
