Position Overview
The Supervisor Maintenance oversees the installation repair and upkeep of facilities and equipment including machines mechanical systems buildings and other structures. This position supervises a maintenance crew in the completion of routine maintenance emergency repairs installations and overhauls. This position ensures that all activities are conducted according to safety predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes and contributes to budgeting and planning to support the achievement of the siteâs business goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Hire workers organize schedules and assign maintenance work activity. Conduct or delegate training to ensure individuals have requisite skills.
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures routine emergency and preventative for assigned facilities with a focus on continuous improvement. Evaluate functionality and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment identifying problems and requirements.
- Contribute to the development of and enforce budgets and goals as well as short term plans annual plans and long range capital and operating plans.
- Act as project manager on capital projects; solicit bids supervise contractors and ensure contract compliance with insurance and safety requirements.
- Ensure record keeping and reporting is maintained according to established standards.
- Maintains safe and healthy work environment through training and enforcement of safety standards and procedures; ensure activities are in compliance with legal codes and regulations.

- Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business or technical support or production team
- Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion; coordinates work activities with other supervisors
- Decisions are guided by policies procedures and business plan receives guidance and oversight from manager
- Typically does not spend more than 20 of time performing the work supervised
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelorâs Degree preferred or required
- 3-5 yearsâ relevant experience required
- Prior leadership experience
