Group Lead - Production

Responsible for the coordination of second shift activities to achieve compay goals in safety, costs, quality, service, people, and the environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the organization of work crews.
Direct and supervise the accurate and timely completion of all departmentalrecords relating to the plant & warehouse processes.
Ensure that all employees are properly trained in company policies and safety.
Communicate with Plant Supervisor regarding all operations on the production lines & warehouse.
Direct daily line coverage and control product flow.
Assist in maintaining monthly budgets.

Responsible for housekeeping of the general work area.
Observe all Company work, safety and GMP policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

Qualifications:

Ability to read, write, and comprehend instructions.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Ability to make quick decisions, organized, and attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in a team environment and lead and train personnel.
1 to 3 years in experience in an industrial setting.
Requires a minimum of a High School Education or equivalent.
