Nutrition Account Manager - Based in Pipestone, MN or Brandon, SD

Objective: As a nutrition account manager, you will have direct responsibility for maintaining nutrition accounts, while further developing new business. In this role you will work closely with producers and formulation team to implement diets across all phases of swine production, provide support through feed and ingredient quality analysis, and bring value through innovative nutrition solutions.   

Essential Functions (other duties as assigned): 

• Provide Account Management for current nutrition and procurement clients.
  • Monitor animal performance to ensure expectations are met. 
  • Assist with updating and reviewing nutrition programs. 
• Work with production field staff to ensure quick and concise follow-up to any nutritional concerns 
• Grow swine nutrition client base through nutrition consulting and ingredient procurement services. 
• Develop and maintain preferred relationships with key stakeholders in clients’ organizations. 
• Utilize CCM to track current and prospective client information. 
• Assist with business development updates for assigned territory at Nutrition Team meetings. 
• Travel to the field to discuss and review pig performance with clients:
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and troubleshoot issues 
  • Identify and implement any necessary adjustments 
• Excellent communication with external clients and prospective clients, as well as team members 
• Contribute ideas and solutions from the field to improve nutrition platform.  
   

Education: B.S. in Animal Science (or related field) 

Experience: 3-5 years of swine nutrition and or account management experience 

Additional Requirements: 

• Ability to travel with overnight stays 
• Time in pork production operations and feed milling operations. 
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) 
• Position based in Pipestone, MN or Brandon, SD
