The Cattle Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing cattle purchase agreements, cattle supplier relations, feeder cattle supply, fed cattle supply and harvest commitments to the packer. The role of this position will include coordination, review, analysis, forecasting and reporting of the overall cattle supply. This position will develop and compile reports for analysis on metrics such as performance, availability, sustainability and logistics. Coordination and calculation of cattle purchase settlements will also be included. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytics and inventory management. This position requires a self-starter with a results-oriented mentality as well as excellent attention to detail and an entrepreneurial spirit.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree is required.
• 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management.
• Knowledge of livestock production is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and lead significant projects, delivering high-quality work on time.
• Expert level of experience in Excel with advanced math skills.
• Ability to manage a database and extrapolate data to make informed decisions.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with employees, customers and vendors is critical.
• Experience researching and critically analyzing data with recommendations for collaborative action.
• Critical thinker with strategic foresight to look at projects, teams, and the supply chain holistically.
• Self starter with a high level of urgency to complete projects.
• Experience in data management systems.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities at once.

Compensation: $75,000 - $130,000 depending on experience.
