Croplands has been designing and distributing agricultural spraying equipment for 50 years. We’re looking to engage a Field Services Technician who will be responsible for service support activities within Croplands and our customers. This will be largely in field support for customers requiring technical information, field visits and machine installations as required and after sales service support and growth in line with company direction and values. 

What will you be doing?

• Collaborate and Integrate with the entire sales & service team.
• Perform duties responsibly with accountability and follow-up.
• Strive to improve process and procedures to increase efficiencies.
• Understanding of warranty expenditure in relation to budget guidelines.
• Provide knowledge, service, and support to all customers – Dealer or End User.
• Relay feedback from the field to internal key stakeholders.
• Dealer service staff technical advice.
• To receive service calls from customers.
• Find spare parts and read schematic drawings.
• Ability to travel interstate.
• Identify and order parts required for equipment.
• Install new equipment and train customer or sales staff.

What do you bring?
You’re highly motivated with good organizational and time management skills. You bring experience within the agricultural industry Experience in the agricultural industry, particularly the use of spraying equipment &/or precision agriculture. The ideal candidate will have a background in hydraulics and electronics would be an advantage. You’ll need effective interpersonal skills along with the ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
