Our headquarters is located in sunny San Bernardino California and we have farming fields throughout San Bernardino and Riverside Counties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Farm Field Operations Management: Oversee daily farming field operations including planting, cultivation, irrigation, and harvesting to ensure timely and efficient production. Review and prepare proper workflows and coordinate all farm equipment utilization and maintenance activities.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of farm workers, fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Crop Health Monitoring: Define and implement best practices for pest management, irrigation, and soil health and nutrient levels to optimize crop yields. Determine optimum harvesting schedules based on plant maturity, variant, and variety to ensure maximum quality, yield, and market value.
  • Environmental Compliance: Enforce all OSHA, Cal-OSHA, and EPA regulations to ensure the proper application, storage, handling, and disposal of all fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, fungicides, and additives, to minimize environmental impact and promote long-term sustainability. Implement integrated pest management (IPM) to minimize damage and maintain plant health.
  • Resource Management: Efficiently manage resources including farm labor, equipment, and materials to maximize productivity, control downtime, and minimize waste.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Utilize farm management software to prepare reports, track field activities, monitor crop performance, and make informed decisions. 

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Proven track record in agricultural management with a focus on farm field production, farm labor cost management, agronomy, and pesticide/herbicide application and safety.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Innovation: Passion for innovative farming techniques and sustainable agriculture.
  • Problem-Solver: Ability to identify issues quickly and implement effective solutions.
  • Impeccable Attention to Detail: Must be thorough, accurate, and consistent conducting daily tasks, completing documentation/reports, and communicating with others.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field is preferred.
  • Bi-lingual: Fluent in Spanish and English, must also be able to read and write.
