QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience working with financial systems and databases, creating reports, queries, and dashboards is desirable; may include Excel, Microsoft Power BI, SSRS, Prophix or others
- Ag and/or Livestock background is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of related accounting or financial analyst experience
- Strong problem solving, analytical, multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Ability to manage projects and prioritize workload effectively and independently and within a team
- Proficiency in MS Office and High proficiency with Excel

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an Ag Business in search for a Senior Financial Analyst. This position will develop, supply and analyze data in cooperation with CFO, CEO, and finance team as deemed necessary to make key financial decisions. It will also involve annual budgeting and assisting with the year-end audit as part of a team of CPA's and accountants.

Responsibilities:

- Prepares reports which summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations
- Researches and analyzes expense data, reports on costs in summary and in detail. Provides input on potential changes to processes affecting costs and assists in understanding variances in expenses compared in periods of time and compared with budgets.
- Prepares reports required by regulatory agencies and other reports requested by management.
- Assists with formulation and implementation of internal controls and assists with management of business information system.
