QUALIFICATIONS:

- Good row crop production background with experience in Soybean Production preferred
- Prefer irrigation experience with pivot & flood irrigation; agronomy experience in soil fertility, water management, and scouting is a plus
- Handle routine maintenance and general repairs
- Tractor/Trailer semi experience is needed. Clean record is needed, CDL preferred, or with ability to obtain.
- Hard-working, team player, strong communicator, customer service oriented, self-starter, high morals, good ethics, motivated, and honesty is required

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting this southern-east central Nebraska employer seeking a good Farm Equipment Operator/Assistant. A person needs to be mechanically inclined. This person needs to be versatile and willing to help where and when needed in all areas of the operation: farming, maintenance, welding, and trucking. The person help with maintenance and upkeep of the farm: equipment, facilities, and assisting with logistics. Additional planting, spraying, and harvesting skills are a strong plus. A person needs to be a hard worker, easygoing, able to get along well with others and have a good attitude and personality, which are big pluses—seeking a self-starter who takes pride in their work and keeps the shop and vehicles clean. Work with both flood irrigation as well as pivot irrigation. This employer is willing to work with a younger individual with good references and wants to grow in skill set, which to be rewarded for by also a more experienced candidate with solid credentials is a plus/benefit for consideration.
