QUALIFICATIONS:

- Good equipment operator with good maintenance skills, agronomy knowledge, and general understanding of mechanical ability is needed
- Able to take direction, have a good attitude, dependable and trustworthy, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently
- Need minimum 3-5 years of experience with operating of Ag equipment and an understanding of Ag technology for crops in south central Kansas
- Experience with irrigation is needed
- Willing and able to get CDL with a clean driving record

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a qualified Farm Assistant for a Kansas producer. Need to have experience and interest in farming. This is a progressive operation that can provide good opportunities now and down the road as the owner gets older and realizes that he needs more assistance to maintain his operation and is looking for a young man or couple to assist. This is a diversified operation, and the couple needs to be willing to jump in where and when needed at all levels of work that needs to be done. Ideally, they are looking for a couple interested in making this their lifestyle and working the farm as if it were their own. A couple with both an interest and/or ability to buy a farm out in the future or even a possible transition plan for the right couple down the road. The position provides a family-friendly atmosphere.
