QUALIFICATIONS:

- Looking for a self-starter with an interest in production agriculture; strength in mechanics & maintenance preferred
- Prefer at least 3+ years plant to harvest experience
- Experience in agronomy, irrigation, mechanics, precision and/or spray application areas all considered or would be a plus & can translate to more money earned
- Having a CDL not required, but a good driving record with the ability to drive a tractor/trailer preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to see the big picture and take initiative to do the job without being told
- Work with additional employees as a team in a safe and productive manner while displaying honesty and integrity

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a strong Farm Assistant for a South Dakota employer. This employer is looking for an applicant with experiences of plant to harvest with latest precision equipment, preferably experience using large equipment on an operation greater than 15K acres who can jump in and assist wherever and when needed. Rewarding career available for the right attitude, work ethic, and advancement of responsibility going forward. New heated & air-conditioned shop for seasonal maintenance and equipment repairs. The equipment is new as key pieces are purchased annually. Fair wages are paid as salary is determined by experience, stability, and references. Location is close to a town with a strong school district with bus service. Great location for spouse to find work if looking. The employee that is retiring has been with them for 20+ years and they are looking for that next employee with great longevity for the next 10-20+ years.
