JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4-year Ag-related degree preferred
- Solid base of knowledge of Midwestern crops and cropping systems
- Strong Relationship Builder highly skilled in sales negotiations
- Proven territory sales experience including placing orders, export, customs processing and, most importantly, customer support
- Good knowledge/understanding of Ag equipment and implements
- Highly organized with attention to detail, strategic mindset and an analytical approach to business
- Ability to work well under pressure with a high level of commitment
- Computer savvy with MS Office applications and an ERP system
- Ability to work well independently as well as within a team.
- Willing to work from a Central Nebraska location
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking an Executive, Agronomy Salesperson for an established International Ag Equipment Manufacturer entering the U.S. market space. Ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent knowledge/understanding of Midwestern crops and cropping systems
- Good knowledge of Ag Equipment and implements
- Proven ability to Negotiate and Sell large pieces of Ag Equipment
In this role, you will:
- Monitor the entire Agronomic process for implementation of Ag Equipment including supporting the system from start-up to plant production as well as providing analysis on the introduction of regenerative Agriculture and providing active monitoring and support of research projects
- Accept customer orders in close cooperation with Area Managers
- Review orders with regard to timely availability, order confirmation, and invoicing
- Prepare necessary export documents for our international customers and partners including preparing necessary customs and foreign trade documents by means of electronic data exchange
- Plan and coordinately delivery of Ag Equipment sold in your area of responsibility
- Continually identify new high potential target markets and customers
- Work closely with Product Development as well as Sales and Marketing
