JOB TITLE: AGRONOMY MANAGER

***SALARY TO 130K, POSSIBLY HIGHER, DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE***

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4-year Ag-related degree preferred but not required with equivalent combination of education and Agronomy experience
- 8-10 years of Agronomy Sales and/or Agronomy Operations experience
- Solid knowledge/experience in Corn and Soybean Agronomy
- Positive, Level-Headed Leader with Strong Focus on Excellent Customer Service and
- Aggressive in terms of Selling and Service
- Computer savvy
- Current Valid Driver License
- Current CDL or ability to obtain within 1 year of employment
- Current Commercial Applicator license or ability to obtain within 1 year of employment

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an Established Ag Retailer located in Eastern Nebraska in hiring a well-qualified Agronomy Manager. Ideal candidate will have an Agronomy degree, recent hands-on experience supervising Agronomy personnel, and will have proven Agronomy Sales experience. Primary responsibilities to include managing the overall financial success of the Agronomy Division including:

- Providing oversight/maintenance of Agronomy personnel, facility and all equipment
- Providing support, mentoring and training for Agronomy Sales Team
- Building Division morale and success to ensure goals are met, customers are happy and entire Agronomy Team is productive
- Working closely with customer base to make crop input recommendations and to sell crop inputs and Agronomy Division services
- Enforcing state and federal government regulations within Division

You will report directly to the General Manager, however, there will be a lot of autonomy in this role!
