ABOUT OUR CLIENT
 
Our client is a well-established Canadian equipment manufacturer, focused on bringing distinctive solutions to the agricultural equipment sector.
 
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF THE SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
 
You will be responsible for leading the HR function across the company divisions, supporting and coaching the management team and managing the budget for your department. You will lead and develop all recruitment initiatives and shape the performance and development systems for all employees as well as onboarding new employees including new hire training, safety training and coordinating immigration of new employees to Canada.
 
WORK SCHEDULE
 
This a full-time office position.
 
AM I A GOOD FIT FOR THIS EXCITING OPPORTUNITY?
 
Ideal Candidates will have:
 
  • Minimum 7+ years’ experience in a similar role
  • Training in human resources or education in related field. Preference given to candidates with Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designations
  • A strong understanding of Employment law in Saskatchewan and HR best practices
  • Ability to interpret Provincial laws and regulations and provide advice to senior management
  • Proven ability to create and implement HR policies and programs (recruitment, performance management, HR policies, benefits, training and development)
  • Ability to work independently on multiple projects concurrently
  • Health and safety regulations, WHMIS, OH&S
  • Experience with WCB filings and claims management

 

You will have experience working with a diverse group of internal and external teams and partners, excellent written and oral communication skills, comfortable with public speaking, strong attention to detail and initiative in decision-making and problem-solving skills and be a positive and co-operative team player. You will also be able to think “outside of the box”, have a high-level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, be capable of adapting to and learning new software applications, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
