Brewer Science, Inc. is a major innovator of high-technology solutions for the semiconductor / microelectronics markets. We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as a Lab Assistant Intern. This position will be located in Rolla, MO.

Summary:

Conducts laboratory analyses, experiments, and processes to support research and development projects.

Responsibilities:
 

• Performs sample preparation
• Conducts routine experiments and process data for routine work under supervision.
• Knowledge and understanding of safety and housekeeping standards and practiced in daily activities.
• Learns and keeps familiar with lab procedures.
• Keeps a well-documented laboratory notebook and have it co-signed within two weeks.
• Responsible for communicating with supervisor and team members.
• Records and communicates any unexpected differences in test results.
• Provides in-depth data analysis summary, using DOE/statistics when applicable.

Education & Credentials:
 

• At least 2nd year college level Chemistry, Chemical Engineer, or other science related degrees.
• Knowledge of safety practices in labs, preferred
• Lab research experience, preferred
•
