Description

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• 1.1 Animal care AM/PM daily.
• 1.2 Complete daily production which may include injections, bleeding, milking etc.
• 1.3 Maintain animal living areas.
• 1.4 Document findings and job completions in the required logs.
• 1.5 Other duties as assigned.

 Education:

• 2.1 High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5.2 An associate degree in Life Sciences or equivalent preferred but not required

Physical Requirements:

• 3.1 This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching at various times throughout the day.
• 3.2 Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• 3.3 Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.

 Working Conditions:

• 4.1 Extremes of temperature, including heat in summer months and cold in winter months.
• 4.2 While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to extremes in temperature, and occasionally farm equipment. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can vary from minimal to loud.
