Job Summary:

Job Description:

In this eight-week program, you will have the unique opportunity to explore a variety of STEM career paths including: Agribusiness, Agricultural Science, Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing) and Sustainability. You will participate in real-world projects and multi-disciplinary teams while developing personal, professional and technical skills.

  • Contribute to project execution and collaborate with other field professionals across departments in plant manufacturing, engineering, clean energy, and product management to name a few. Learn aspects of plant engineering, including plant process and fixed and rotational equipment.
  • Explore the exciting new field of green and blue ammonia and carbon capture and sequestration.
  • Monitor the process of safety management and coordination, including safety standards, analysis proposals, and processes and procedures.
  • Gain exposure to production operations, instrumentation, and process controls in an industrial and electrical environment.

Program Prerequisites/Requirements: Applicants must be a current FOSSI Scholar entering their sophomore or junior year pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, a strong desire for self-development and career growth, proficiency in creating presentations, and be willing to work onsite at any one of the locations listed in this posting.
