Description

SUMMARY


The Premium Services Intern, will play a vital part in supporting our Premium Services department by undertaking diverse tasks and functions. This position will directly contribute to maintaining Gillette Stadium’s esteemed reputation as a top-tier venue.

Duties And Responsibilities
 

  • Gain hands-on experience by rotating through various functions within the Premium Services-Food and Beverage Department, including front-of-house management, set-up, back-of-the-house operations, and planning meetings.
  • Attend and actively participate in department meetings to stay informed about ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Assist Premium Services with day-to-day tasks between events to ensure readiness and contribute to the successful execution of large-scale ticketed events.
  • Learn Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), gaining proficiency in event preparation and management processes.
  • Support event planning efforts by assisting with scheduling, coordination, and logistics, enhancing organizational and communication skills.
  • Serve food and beverages during events, focusing on attention to detail and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the catering team to ensure seamless service delivery and uphold quality standards in food presentation and service etiquette.
  • Special projects and assignments as business dictates.

Skills And Qualifications
 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equal technical degree preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft programs – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Effective communication skills, oral and written
  • Able to effectively plan ahead
  • Strong team player orientation and customer focus
     

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
 

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, bend and be able to lift 40 pounds.
  • Must be able to climb a ladder.
  • Must have a flexible schedule including nights, mornings, weekends, weekdays, and holidays.
  • Must be able to handle stressful situations effectively and professionally.
     

WORK ENVIRONMENT
 

  • The noise level in the work environment is often loud
  • Will work in all types of weather, including extreme heat and cold
  • This is a fast-paced environment with many moving parts
