FALL 2024 + SPRING 2025 INTERNSHIP

Location: Charleston, SC

Position Description

Charleston Wine + Food (CHSWF) is looking for dynamic, professional, detail-oriented and self-motivated individuals to work with our Development, Experience, Marketing, and Business Operations departments. Interns will work side-by-side with various directors, managers, and administrators at the CHSWF HQ. The internship spans 24 weeks total (12 weeks in the Fall Semester and 12 weeks in the Spring Semester).

  • Develop a deep understanding of the Charleston Wine + Food operations and overarching team initiatives
  • Learning ways in which teams are supported to best achieve goals
  • Learning overall development strategies of an event planning and non-profit organization
  • Great networking opportunities within our Charleston community, as well as participants from communities around the world
  • Growth in personal development through teamwork, communication, and time management
  • Learning how to successfully + effectively work between multiple organizational departments
  • Learning to navigate multiple work streams simultaneously

Dates Of Opportunity
 

  • 12 hours per week
  • 12 week program per semester
  • Fall Semester - 09/09/2024 through 12/06/2024 (excludes Thanksgiving week)
  • Spring Semester - 01/06/2025 through 03/28/2025
  • Dates and hours are flexible based on school and class schedule
     

Compensation
 

  • Hourly wage + Opportunity for College Credit
  • Students must work with their school to obtain information on what is needed to be awarded college credit. CHSWF will work with each student individually to ensure the college's requirements are in harmony with the internship being offered.
