Salary Range (plus eligible to receive a performance based incentive, applicable to position) :

 

$103,331 - $139,803Self-starter with administration expertise rewarded

Provide professional advice and support to the Executive Vice-President, Marketing and Public Affairs, including managing budgets, tracking delivery of initiatives and co-ordinating meetings and events.

You’ll work closely with other FCC team members to support the execution of business unit deliverables, manage incoming requests and approvals, and lead strategic divisional projects.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Handle critical or high-priority incoming items as the first point of contact for the Executive Vice-President, Marketing and Public Affairs
  • Analyze and critique requests, approvals and reports on behalf of the Executive Vice-President, Marketing and Public Affairs
  • Represent the executive office
  • Lead performance review process for the entire Marketing and Public Affairs division
  • Oversee strategic initiatives and projects within the Marketing and Public Affairs division, and monitor progress against the goals and objectives
  • Prepare the Executive Vice-President, Marketing and Public Affairs for external and internal speaking, and meetings
  • Manage, forecast, prepare and review the Executive Vice-President, Marketing and Public Affairs divisional budget

  • Analytical thinker adept at analyzing financial management theories and financial information
  • Confident communicator with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid organizational and time management skills

 

What you’ll need:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, communications, public relations or agriculture and at least seven years of progressive experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience); French is an asset
