About the role

We are looking for a Credit Officer to join the Elders team on, full-time, 12-month fixed term contract.

As a Credit Officer, you will support the credit team through maintaining credit accounts within a designated client portfolio while identifying any financial risks and minimising exposure to bad debts in accordance with Elders policies.

Responsibilities

As a Credit Officer, responsibilities include and are not limited to:
  • Credit control for branch network and associated class accounts
  • Preparing submissions and coordinate approvals
  • Monitor and action daily reporting
  • Undertaking credit searches
  • Establishing new accounts
  • Associated account maintenance and processing


About you

  • Demonstrated understanding of debt recovery process
  • Demonstrated understanding of application process
  • Initiative to make timely decisions
  • Professional with high work ethic and personal integrity
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Capacity to remain task focussed and prioritise under pressure
  • Advanced proficiency using the Microsoft Officer Suite
  • Previous experience in a credit collection role (desirable)
