You're an established senior leader in agriculture seeking to take the lead in driving sustainable and progressive practices. An opportunity to lead change within a business at the heart of the poultry industry.

 

Three key strands underpin the core purpose of the role; Welfare, Sustainability and Compliance.

 

The company is seeking an agribusiness leader with the rare combination of an affinity with the poultry industry and financial/strategic management experience alongside strong team leadership credentials and the ability to oversee business operations.

 

Working for a household name in the UK poultry space, you will take on a key role reporting directly to the CEO.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team to ensure that the performance of the farming business meets set KPI’s and Indicators.

• Develop, lead, mentor and inspire team to help achieve the highest standards and outputs.

• Financial oversight with focus on cost management and revenue optimisation.

• Management of key relationships with Suppliers and Clients.

• Foster team spirit with/between colleagues to facilitate cross-functional working within the Group.

• Liaise with other departments in the business to ensure attainment of highest management standards for both people and poultry.

• Strategic leadership to develop and implement plans supporting the growth of the farming business.

• Continuous development of ideas and challenge to the status quo.

• Represent Group at industry level.

 

Your profile: 

• Experience in a similar role or proven background in a senior management role with agriculture focus.

• Excellent poultry industry knowledge.

• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.

• Strong strategic planning and execution skills.

• Understanding of operational management and experience managing multi-site operations.

• Financial management skills.

• Passionate about achieving the highest standards in welfare and sustainability.
