Our client, well-established equipment manufacturer is seeking a PLC Programmer to join their industrial control panel shop. They are a Schneider Electric Automation partner and build small simple relay logic panels all the way up to large multi panel distributed control systems. This position is located in northern Washington in a great community to live and work.

Responsibilities

· Program PLC control systems using a CODESYS based IDE.
· Create HMI projects using Vijeo Designer.
· Integration of PLCs, HMI, VFDs, Remote IO, and other devices via various fieldbus methods such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP, CANOpen, Modbus RTU, HART, and IO-Link, and various ethernet based protocols.
· Testing manufactured control systems in house prior to shipping.
· Proactive involvement in projects and OEM product development.

Desired Profile

· Experience in Codesys or other PLC based IEC 61131-3 development environments.
· Experience in industrial network protocols such as ModbusTCP, CANOpen.
· Database experience, such as Microsoft SQL Server, MYSQL.
· Willingness to write disciplined, organized, and well-documented code.
· Has experience commissioning and troubleshooting control systems.
· Willing and able to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
· Understanding of electrical concepts.
