Our client, an industry-leading, innovative crop technology company, is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Facilities & Operations to lead and strategically develop the Facilities and Operations teamsto execute a comprehensive 5-year business plan. As a key member of the Senior Management Team, this role is essential in driving business improvements, building rapport across all levels, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This position is on-site in Santa Clara County, California.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Operations and Facilities teams with full P&L accountability.
- Develop and implement plant maintenance, capital improvement, and productivity enhancement plans.
- Oversee production activities, ensuring optimal use of resources and strict adherence to EPA, OSHA, and NOP standards.
- Champion Lean Manufacturing and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Ensure comprehensive site-wide maintenance, security, and effective capital project delivery.
- Support cross-training efforts, uphold safety protocols, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to develop and execute strategic business plans.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven leadership experience in Facilities and Operations Management.
- Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement, implementing Lean Manufacturing principles, and maintaining regulatory compliance.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the business.
- Bachelor's Degree (Finance, Chemistry, Biology, or Mechanical Engineering a plus)
