Job Description:

 

Our client, a leading provider of innovative solutions for dairy cow comfort, is dedicated to improving animal welfare and maximizing productivity for dairy farms. They are seeking a passionate and driven Territory Account Manager to join their team. This is a remote opportunity based out of Wisconsin or surrounding areas, travel is expected.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Sales Reporting and Analysis:

    • Utilize Salesforce to track projects and opportunities, ensuring smooth development within the territory.
    • Plan and log customer visits, record activities, and schedule follow-up calls using CRM tools.
    • Prepare market reports and track performance to meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and customers.
    • Provide tailored solutions to meet the specific needs of dairy farmers and ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Maintain communication with internal teams, including operations and customer service, to ensure alignment on business objectives.
  • Territory Growth:

    • Develop and execute strategies to grow sales and increase market share within the assigned territory.
    • Ensure consistent follow-ups with customers and prospects to drive ongoing business development.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Animal Science, Business, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of sales experience in the agricultural or dairy industry with a proven record of meeting sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of dairy farming operations and the unique needs of dairy farmers.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the territory.
