As UK&IE Crop Protection Commercial Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the achievement of overall sales targets and the growth of the Crop Protection business. Reporting to the Country Leader, the role includes setting and agreeing the Crop Protection sales strategy in line with the Europe, Africa & Middle East regional targets and managing the team of National Account Managers and our Biological Market Developer.
Responsibilities:
- Overall market understanding, segment exploration, market assessment & opportunity identification
- Customer and business partners activities including strategic account management support, relationship building, commercial negotiations, competitive analysis, profitability analysis, demand/supply management
- Accountable for the monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting
- Build our sales commercial policy and distribution strategy to deliver sales goals aligned with the country strategy
- Align with internal Customer Service, Credit and Supply Chain teams to execute the sales plan for the year
- Ensure compliance with Product Stewardship, Environment, Health and Safety, sales processes and company policies
- Manage sales team training and ensure adoption of commercial processes and tools
- Develop contacts and strong relationships at senior management level with Key Account customers
- People management responsibility for team of National Account Managers and Biologicals Market Developer: grow your team to their full potential by motivating, developing and mentoring as well as securing a strong succession plan

Location
- Melbourn, Cambridgeshire (Office based with an estimated 60% travel)
To Grow What Matters, You Will Need
- Degree in Business or an Agronomy-related field required together with a minimum of a BASIS Diploma in Crop Protection certification
- At least 5 years of experience in sales of Crop Protection products with proven negotiation skills
- Impressive business acumen with strong knowledge of the Crop Protection market in the UK & Ireland
- Experience with sales forecasting and targets
- People leadership experience
- Excellent communication at different levels of the organization and with external stakeholders
- Full fluency English
- Valid UK driving licence
