We're hiring for a Territory Sales Representative

As the Territory Sales Representative you will be responsible for achieving technical and revenue goals within the assigned region through a customer centric approach. You will need to work closely with agents and farmers to provide technical and commercial support on plant nutrition and plant physiology solutions.

Farmers are always striving to find new and better ways to grow crops. With natural products like biologicals, the challenge is finding products that work well and can be easily incorporated into the farmer's existing agronomic practices. Every farm is a living system. Biological products from Corteva are designed to fit into that system by complementing the evolving farm practices of today and tomorrow. They can be used in organic farming or in conjunction with traditional crop protection products to optimize plant protection and health. Biologicals are natural substances that help enhance plant protection and health, and help plants be more resilient when they are affected by disease or pests.

Your Challenge:

  • Ensuring relations with customers and employees based on the values defined by Corteva.
  • Drive revenue growth by meeting and surpassing sales objectives and sales targets.
  • Accomplishing periodic visits to distributors and customers, aiming to understand the needs, offer solutions after analysis, and validate the solutions with the Area Manager.
  • Prospecting new customers in the region and contribute with complete analysis for the Area Manager to support the business strategy.
  • Ensuring and leading distributor management to support the business strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with our international team to acquire and share knowledge of plant physiological processes, findings and best practices.
  • Be part of an educational network for customers and other agronomy professionals in the country to learn and share information about soil health practices, systems, and equipment.
  • To disseminate knowledge through capacity building actions for the distribution system, end users and influencers in their region of operation, aligned with the Area Manager.
  • Becoming an expert in the region through sound technical support.
  • Be a technical reference and use technical knowledge and skills to do product recommendations, identify problems and provide viable solutions to customers.
  • Ensuring the execution of the action plan within the quality standards established by the company with the Area Managers support.
  • Ensuring the forecasting and sales process: inclusion of the order, planning of delivery within the necessary time and monitoring of the payment of the order, aiming to increase sales and satisfy customers.
  • Fully ensure the assembling of trials(scientific, demonstration and demand generation), manage the development, applications, and harvest with excellence, sending the results to the company and customers.
  • Ensuring the flow of information between customers and the company, anticipating problems, and actively participating in discussions of alternative solutions with the Area Manager and departments of the company (teamwork).
  • Submitting timely reports (activities, visits, and flows) and prior weekly schedule of activities to ensure business strategy.
  • Ensuring collaboration with all departments of the company: meet deadlines with quality, share results and good practices, have critical analysis and communication initiatives to increase teamwork.
  • Conducting after sales service, guaranteeing the efficiency and performance of products in the field to increase sales.

To Grow What Matters, You Will Need

  • 3-5 Years of experience in a similar position.
  • BSc Degree (Soil Science, Plant Nutrition, Horticulture, Plant Physiology, Agronomy or a combination of these relevant fields).
  • Proven experience in field trial management and customer prospecting.
  • Knowledge of the methodology for assembling, conducting and harvesting fields trials.
  • Knowledge of presentation techniques in a clear, assertive and company aligned manner.
  • Approved in BASOS (FERTASA), AVCASA.
  • Drivers' license.
  • MS Office advanced skills (mainly Power Point and Excel).
