Job Description:

The Territory Account Manager role is responsible for servicing the demand generation and customer sales of innovative new product solutions and leading established brands within the territory. This role is an exciting opportunity to work with an industry leading portfolio and pipeline of products focused on providing sustainable and robust solutions to a wide variety of crops and production systems.

 

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Effective management of customer and channel partner relationships
  • Develop in-depth practical and technical knowledge of Corteva Agriscience products, with a particular focus on product positioning and stewardship.
  • Use data to predict future market conditions, identify market gaps and opportunities to develop new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a territory plan that prioritizes activities around key market segments and customers.
  • Develop annual sales targets and value-creating goals in accordance with Corteva Agriscience business strategies and objectives.
  • Successfully integrate new products into the market and identify emerging market opportunities. 
  • Establish demonstration sites and conduct field days suitable for viewing by external customers.

 

  • Qualifications:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Agriculture.
  • Minimum three years agricultural industry experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to negotiate and build relationships with a diverse range of people.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Account Management experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of agronomy and modern crop production; including horticultural cropping.
  • Ability to train others in use of products and techniques.
  • Self-motivated and highly results orientated, but also values working within a team environment.
  • Customer focused with the ability and interpersonal skill to quickly build relationships.
