We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Specialist at our Valdosta GA site.

This role will be on site at the Corteva location.

What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and troubleshoot equipment.
  • Work with operators to ensure equipment-related performance issues are documented and develop quality work requests.
  • Perform preventative and routine maintenance per schedule.
  • Develop operator capability to troubleshooting and problem identification.
  • Assist in corrective actions and coaching.
  • Co-own emergency procedures with Operations Capability Leader (OCL) and update procedures as needed for continuous improvement.
  • Train operators on equipment care and basic machine maintenance.
  • Perform preventive maintenance.
  • Identify equipment performance deviations and apply root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education:

  • You have your High School Diploma/GED.

What Skills You Need:

  • You have 5 years manufacturing or maintenance experience
  • You have a proven record of good EH&S performance.
  • You have experience and proven proficiency in computer systems and programs including (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, IP.21etc.) and tend to pick up quickly on new software.
  • You are highly collaborative and able to coordinate with other departments to get work done in a safe and efficient manner.
  • You are willing/able to work a rotating shift and overtime hours including weekend work as needed during seasonal peaks to support production demand.

Basic Requirements: 

  • Have a current, valid, United States driver's license.
  • Pass a drug screen, background history, and other relevant screens if job offer is received and accepted.
  • Read, write, and speak English.
  • Reliable attendance.
  • Work a rotating shift and/or overtime.
  • Ability to be regularly medically approved and fit tested for respirator use.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Obtain necessary certifications as needed.
  • Work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.

Candidate must be able to perform the Essential Functions of the role, which include, but are not limited to the ability to:

  • Use standard safety equipment which is rated for 300 pounds or less.
  • Pull, lift and carry up to 50 pounds multiple times per day and maneuver hoses, flange connections and operate valves and similar equipment.
  • Perceive, identify, and respond to plant and site alarms or other hazard warnings.
  • Follow procedures and practices to ensure a safe and efficient operation.
  • Wear a uniform and safety equipment, such as respirators, earplugs, goggles, and steel-toed shoes. 
  • Safely operate fork trucks, condors, and/or site vehicles.
  • Candidates must be willing and able to work in environments that include: tight or closed-in spaces, climb stairs/ladders and working at heights, stand or walk for extended periods of time, frequent bending and reaching, outdoors and in inclement weather.
