We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented tax lawyer to join our dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

Support senior tax lawyers in managing tax litigation cases, assisting in the preparation and analysis.

Discuss cases with external law firms and legal partners

Support the team in drafting legal documents, opinions, and responses to tax authorities.

Conduct legal research on tax legislation, case law, and administrative rulings.

Help monitor ongoing tax disputes, ensure compliance with deadlines, prepare and review reports for Audit purposes.

Collaborate with internal departments to gather relevant documentation and information.

Stay informed on news, legislative changes, and rulings related to tax matters.

Monitor and control invoices and payments related to external law firms and tax advisors.

Coordinate with the Accounts Payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of legal fees and tax-related expenses.

Maintain organized records of contracts, invoices, and payment confirmations for audit and compliance purposes.

Track and manage the renewal and validity of tax compliance certificates (e.g., federal, state, municipal).

 Ensure the company remains compliant by supporting documentation and reporting requirements.

Use of technological tools, AI, and ERP.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Law - up to 4 years of graduation.

Registration within Brazilian Bar Association (OAB).

Previous experience in tax law and tax litigation.

Strong analytical, communication and writing skills.

Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Keen on innovative and technological solutions.

Knowledge of Microsoft 365 Application

English is desirable
