Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity for a Pioneer Strategic Account Manager serving the Pioneer brand in the Eastern Illinois and Western Indiana, reporting to the Area Leader.  If you have a passion for working with some of the most influential farms, creatively identifying opportunities and collaborating with a team to create a plan to exceed customer expectations, this is a great opportunity for you!  If hired, you may be required to travel as necessary to support business activities.

 

 

What You'll Do:

  • Collaborate with District Leaders, Territory Managers and Sales Agencies to identify and target strategic growth accounts, refreshing this list annually

  • Lead the identification of growth opportunities on each farm, based on their unique sets of needs

  • Lead the creation and oversee the execution of customer success plans, utilizing the full Pioneer team to meet farm needs, resulting in increased Pioneer brand seed sales

  • Active participation in the Area Leadership Team, helping set strategies and develop and execute tactics to enable long-term success across the area, including the leading of Area projects

  • Support the aligned District Leader in the development and execution of district level initiatives, and support the coaching and development of sales team members

  • Collaborate with local sales teams to manage supply and budgets to create success for all

What Skills You'll Need:

  • A passion for working with some of the most influential farms in Eastern Illinois and Western Indiana

  • Ability to network effectively within complex farming organizations, creating strong relationships

  • Strong sales experience with proven ability to creatively identify opportunities and effectively deliver unique solutions to the farm

  • Strong ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders and lead via influence to drive an aligned approach across each farm and deliver an exceptional customer experience

  • Comfort working with digital farm software and potentially drone technologies

  • Ability to think strategically, seeing the big picture to effectively align the approach for each farm back to the Territory, District, Area and company strategies

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 or more years of seed sales experience, with a portion working directly with large farming operations

The salary range for this position is $126,000.00 to $158,000.00.

This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
