Job Description:

Providing technical solutions and experienced knowledge to project work and process-driven work to facilitate the execution of key day-to-day work needed to sustain and empower the global Crop Protection Supply Chain and Integration Operations teams.

A Data Excellence Expert develops data-specific solutions using their personal experience and their team's processes developed for them within the overall Data Excellence team within Supply Chain Excellence. They utilize the processes and procedures for their specific team so that the team can serve the Supply Chain within Integrated Operations area effectively and efficiently. Participation and cooperation with the rest of the Data Excellence and Supply Chain Excellence teams is essential to the success of this position. This role capitalizes on the vast experience and education that this role requires to allow independent working conditions.

There are three successful ways to approach this role. The first approach leads to the Data Leader role which includes preparation for people leadership which includes mentoring and training Data Professionals in your team as per your Team Leader's guidance. Building these managerial skills will enable you to build towards the Data Leader role. The second approach leads to the Data Architect role which includes deeper commitment to learning how to architect and technically direct teams on how to approach problems logically. The third approach is to maintain this role as a career destination. Success in this approach revolves around completing work and staying current on the technologies in the area that their team works.

Role and Responsibilities:

Technical Execution
Complete project work that is assigned to you from the Data Leader and with the approaches provided by the Data Architect. Escalation of issues that are found during your work processes to your Data Leader and/or Data Architect for resolution or explanation. Appropriate levels of work performance consistent with expertise and education of this role. Regular communication of project status and work towards Corteva, team and personal goals and objectives for your role.

Expertise Sharing
Regularly communicate with peers in other data-aligned areas of the company sharing knowledge to improve all of those involved with data within the company. Help, as requested by your team leadership, by providing expert knowledge and/or guidance to other members of the team. Facilitate your role within team cohesion and collaboration by actively participating in appropriate communications and meetings for your role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a Science-related field AND 5+ years of experience in technical work with solid performance
    OR
  • 10+ years of combined collegiate and technical work experience with solid performance
  • Proficiency in Alteryx and DVW SAP data connectors required
  • 5+ years of Agriculture/Chemical industry experience preferred
  • Supply Chain/Integrated Operations background preferred
  • Data Governance and Data Quality experience preferred
