We have an exciting opportunity for Seed Product Development (SPD) Community Safety Specialists to join our company at multiple Research Centers across our Global Corteva Seed Product Development locations. The Safety Specialist is an integral part of our Global Safety SPD Communities and works closely with our Research Center Operations Leads as well as our Safety Community partners in Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHS&S).

Your Role and Responsibilities: 

• Support and harmonize Safety standards across SPD sites in Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Serbia. 

• Lead the implementation of safety policies, drive excellence in daily and seasonal operations, and ensure compliance with local and company regulations. 

• Design, deliver, and update comprehensive safety training programs for all staff, including full-time, seasonal, and contingent employees. 

• Partner closely with EHS&S teams, facilitating Safety Community meetings and strengthening Germany, Austria, Hungary, and Serbia´s position in the European SPD Safety Network. 

• Attend and contribute to regional safety meetings, sharing best practices and supporting the wider community. 

• Champion a proactive safety culture in accordance with Corteva and each country standards. 

Your Profile: 

• A background in agriculture or a related field—gained through formal education such as a bachelor's or master's degree, or through substantial practical and technical experience—is highly valued. 

• Minimum of 5 years' relevant education and/or work experience (training, operations, agricultural manufacturing, warehousing, etc.). 

• Bilingual fluency in English and German is required; additional regional languages are a plus. 

• Familiarity with occupational safety culture and guidelines is highly valued. 

• Confident trainer and mentor for both small and large groups. 

• High proficiency with digital tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and readiness to embrace new software. 

• Valid car driver's license and willingness to travel up to 40% (including during peak agricultural seasons). 

• Passion for safety and personal development, with motivation to become a regional expert. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in daily/seasonal safe operations in agriculture or similar environments. 

• Willingness to pursue local-recognized certifications in occupational health and safety. 

Physical Requirements: 

• Ability to work outdoors (e.g., during planting/harvest seasons). 

• Ability to wear appropriate PPE/RPE as required. 

• Flexibility to work outside standard hours as needed to support seasonal workloads.
