Overview:
As a Hazard Communication SDS Country Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the Regulatory and Stewardship team, ensure efficient management of regulatory data and generation of compliance documents required for various regulatory/business needs.
Responsibilities:
Understand and author SDSs for the products in compliance with applicable hazard communication regulations.
Understand GHS and other regionally pertinent regulations; apply the basic elements of relevant regulations to meet business needs.
Post/Pre-maintenance, support for generation of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) using SAP EH&S for the wide range of products for different countries as assigned.
Provide support to improve regulatory processes like SDS compliance, regulatory compliance, country regulatory compliance etc. and generate reports to help improve the compliance of the business.
Monitoring within assigned projects per regulatory requirements, applicable departmental and company-wide SOPs, and project specific protocol compliance.
Follow documented work processes and offer continues improvement suggestions.
Actively participate in workflow and system development projects to maintain compliance with hazard communication regulations and related regulatory requirements pertaining to SDSs and label.
Provide timely reporting of issues that impact project progress, coordinate actions, and help business in troubleshooting process/data issues.
Actively seek process improvements for workstreams within your scope of work.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, BioTech, Agriculture, Pharma, or similar.
Minimum 1+ years of Regulatory Experience.
Experience using MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint as well as familiarity with database environments. SAP knowledge a plus
