Corteva Biologicals is dedicated to advancing sustainable agriculture through innovative biological solutions. We are looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to join our team and help us grow our presence in the field.
As Sales Representative, you will work in the field, focusing on distribution channels, rural customers, sales, customer acquisition, and field research. This role involves providing guidance on physiological, nutritional, and biological management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with customers and prospect for new clients through detailed analyses.
- Manage distributors to ensure accurate forecasting and visit them regularly to understand their needs and offer solutions. Monitor distributor product stock and collaborate on action plans.
- Collaborate with the technical distribution team to implement commercial strategies.
- Develop and execute action plans and marketing plans within company standards. Provide marketing materials to the Marketing team and support the Communications and Events team with content and technical reviews.
- Oversee the sales process, including order management, pricing, delivery planning, and payment monitoring.
- Work with Agronomy to set up and monitor demonstration areas. Plan and direct demand generation actions, developing new ideas and tools.
- Build and deliver training plans with Agronomy and Marketing.
- Conduct after-sales activities to ensure product efficiency and performance.
- Submit timely reports and schedule activities in advance.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Agronomy.
- At lest 3 years of experience with similar responsibilities within agribusiness sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Physiology, Plant Nutrition, and Biotechnology.
- Familiarity with managing main crops in the region.
- Advanced knowledge of the Biologicals Portfolio.
- Expertise in setting up, conducting, and harvesting demonstration fields.
- Strong public presentation skills.
- Ability to tailor messages to target audiences.
- Proficient in identifying scenarios and correlating them with opportunities.
- Advanced sales and territory management techniques.
- Proficiency in the local language and at least intermediate written and spoken English.
- Effective use of computers and MS Office.
