Responsibilities:
Promotes environment health and safety conscious work performance
Implements environment health and safety (EH&S) programs and training
Tracks and monitors EH&S performance
Ensures compliance with EH&S laws, standards and regulations
Investigates accidents
Plan safety improvement plan for the site
Conducts root cause analysis
Provides functional guidance and coaching to other EH&S resources
Provide advice and guidance to facilities on EH&S issues / compliance
Develops and communicates EH&S messages across the company to help build and maintain EH&S culture
Ensure implementation of safety standards that applied to Arica operation
Manage and track EHS&S employee and company records
Provide reports to the Site Lead to support EHS&S culture management and improvements
Lead all EHS&S subjects in site projects
Lead Safety Subcommittee assigned
Plan and provide trainings for full time and temporary employees
Supervision and develop talent
Balance, prioritize and plan trainings for all employees on time
Review incidents trends and provide root causes analysis regarding safety events
Detect incorrect behaviors and lead the culture changing process, using mindful examples and persuasion skills
Implement EHS&S country legal requirements and be update of changes to lead implementation if is required
Decide the timing and priority for EHS&S trainings
Support decisions on disciplinary action for employees based on EHS&S not compliance
Evaluate the quality of root causes reports for safety incidents and define if improvements are needed

You love having a variety of tasks as well as working hard and staying busy!
You have your High School Diploma or GED.
When you see a problem, you look for a way to fix it, you are solutions focused.
You value the safety of yourself and your co-workers and will eagerly participate in safe work practices, on-the-job safety, and work safety programs.
You are willing and able to work in environments that include: climbing stairs/ladders and working at heights, standing or walking for extended periods of time, frequent bending and reaching, working outdoors and in inclement weather.
You are proficient with computers and Microsoft Office programs.
You have established credibility due to your 2 years of experience in production, operations, or manufacturing safety, or related field so you are easily able to gain the trust of employees and teams.
You have experience implementing and coaching on safety programs, policies, and procedures.
You bring fresh eyes to the business and value from your previous experience with audits and observations.
Some occasional overtime may be required to meet business needs, outage, turn arounds, etc.
Preferences - It Would Be Great If You Have:
Associate's or Degree in Safety or related field. OSHA Training Certification(s).

The salary range for this position is $67,170.00 to $83,960.00.
This reflects a reasonable estimate of the targeted base salary for this role. This role is also eligible for an annual bonus. Based on factors such as geographic location and candidate qualifications, actual base pay is determined when an employment offer is made.
