Main task: Support the multi-crop trialing network within Hungary. Share responsibility for agricultural machinery set up and safe operation.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in all field related activities, such as planting and trial maintenance, irrigation and harvesting.
• Operate all research agricultural machinery with associated software: planters, harvesters.
• Maintenance of agricultural and seed processing equipment
• Manage all related database and specific tools to implement task.
• Control assigned field trials in terms of maintenance, data and sample collection.
• Organize and supervise work of temporary employees ensuring work is performed according to safety standards.
• Continuous learning of new technology adaptation and efficient work processes.
• May serve on teams of specific station projects and control safety programs
• During growing season frequent travel within Hungary

Requirements:

• Agricultural machinery secondary level education or equivalent with 2-3 years of experience.
• Experience in small plot trialing is an advantage.
• Work in varying ergonomic environments.
• Driving license for agricultural machinery
• Ability to train/supervise temporary employees, being a strong team member.
• Basic understanding in English.
• Computer knowledge.
