Regulatory Intelligence for Crop Protection supports the responsible development, authorization, use, and discontinuation of crop protection products by delivering a comprehensive and forward-looking understanding of the regulatory environment throughout the entire product life cycle. The function proactively monitors, analyzes, and interprets regulatory, policy, and scientific developments, transforming complex regulatory information into actionable insights that support informed decision?making and maintain freedom to operate for Corteva's crop protection portfolio.

The Crop Protection Regulatory Intelligence Specialist for Brazil and Latin America is responsible for identifying emerging regulatory trends, assessing potential impacts on crop protection products, and providing timely, high?quality intelligence to regional and global stakeholders. The role works in close collaboration with Regulatory Affairs, Stewardship, Research and Development, Industry Affairs, Commercial, and Global teams to support regulatory strategies, portfolio planning, and risk mitigation activities across diverse and evolving regulatory landscapes.

Through strong analytical capabilities, systems thinking, and cross?functional collaboration, this position enhances organizational awareness of regulatory opportunities and risks, supports proactive regulatory positioning, and contributes to effective lifecycle management of crop protection products in Brazil and Latin America. By connecting regulatory intelligence with business and innovation needs, the role helps ensure that Corteva continues to deliver compliant, sustainable, and competitive solutions to growers across the region.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline (e.g., Agronomy, Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Environmental Sciences, Chemical Engineering or related field).

Fluent English required; Spanish strongly preferred.

Experience:

7+ years of experience in Regulatory Affairs, Regulatory Intelligence, Stewardship or closely related roles within Crop Protection and/or Life Sciences, with demonstrated exposure to Brazil and Latin America regulatory landscapes for pesticides.

Demonstrated experience monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting regulatory/policy/scientific developments and translating complex information into clear, actionable insights for decision making and risk mitigation.

Working knowledge and practical experience engaging with key Brazilian regulatory authorities and processes, including understanding of regulatory workflows, timelines, and key decision drivers.

Experience collaborating cross-functionally (Regulatory, Stewardship, R&D, Commercial, Industry Associations) to support regulatory strategy, portfolio planning, and lifecycle management activities across a diverse and evolving environment.

Other Qualifications:

Regulatory & Technical Knowledge

Strong knowledge of crop protection product lifecycle and the role of regulatory intelligence in supporting development, authorization, use, and discontinuation decisions.
Solid understanding of the Brazilian crop protection regulatory system and its interfaces with regional/Latin America dynamics.

Analytical & Systems Skills

Excellent analytical thinking and systems thinking skills to connect regulatory signals to business/innovation needs, anticipate impacts, and identify risks/opportunities early.
Ability to synthesize ambiguous or complex regulatory, policy, and scientific inputs into executive-ready summaries, scenarios, and recommendations.

Communication & Influence

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences and tailor messages to different stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to influence and align stakeholders without direct authority, operating effectively in cross-functional and multicultural environments.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Management

Strong collaborative mindset with proven ability to partner across functions (Regulatory Affairs, Stewardship, R&D, Commercial, Industry Affairs) to support strategy and proactive positioning.
Ability to build and maintain internal and external networks to support ongoing monitoring and intelligence gathering.

Execution / Ways of Working

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and deliverables in a fast-changing regulatory environment.
Solid project management capabilities to coordinate inputs from multidisciplinary groups and deliver high-quality outputs with predictable cadence.
